I can’t believe for one second that when the FBC “gate” clinks that Frank won’t ever walk through it again with his infectious smile and wave which he had for everyone RIP Frank Elaine Kerle-Alldread (Lainey)
So sad to lose the club’s most friendly gentleman. Frank was a willing worker as well as a very good bowler, and it was always a pleasure to spend time with him both on and off the green Val and Ian Duncan
Very sad to hear of Frank’s passing. Having restarted bowling this year, he was so welcoming and it was a privilege to bowl for the club alongside him a few times this season. Always had a story, was great company and such a friendly face around the club. A real gentleman who will be greatly missed around the club. Brett Moorhouse
Frank did loads for the club that nobody heard about. He has done the back breaking edges on the green for probably 15 years, really lovely gentleman united with his lovely Doris Dave West
Sad to hear of Frank’s passing, a lovely man, and a good bowler. Rest in peace Frank Colin Harris
Frank was one of life’s gentlemen. He was so unhappy once he lost Doris, and his only wish was to be with her and know that he is now where he wanted to be. We will both miss you Frank Peter & Pauline Callan
It’s so sad to hear of Franks passing, I saw him only the other day and he was walking quite fast and looked very sprightly so such a shock he died so suddenly. I used to enjoy our chats and him reminiscing about his army days. He also did so much work at the club and will be really missed by all who new him RIP Frank, God Bless. Jim Burke
Lost a mate and our keeper of the green’s edges. Every Monday without fail. Just a top bloke Mark Brown.
What a sad loss Frank will be. Always cheerful, always laughing. He suffered terribly after Doris’s death and I don’t think he ever got over it. However he got back into bowling and he was always one of the first to be selected. A great bowler, even in his twilight years and hugely respected in the bowling community. A committed club man and always available on Monday mornings for greenkeeper duties. Irreplaceable! RIP Frank Trevor Sparks
It’s always sad when we lose a club member, and its very sad when it’s a good friend like Frank, always a “good old boy”, who always had a hug and a handshake for me. I consider it an honour to have played bowls with Frank, and to have shared jokes and a pint with him. I know Brenda and I are going to miss him being around. Rest in peace with Doris, my old friend Brenda and Peter Roskilly
So sorry to hear this, never knew him long but he always had a smile and a positive word to say! Will be missed Andy Egg Evans
Very sad news, true gentleman, I will miss our chats God Bless Franks Roger Holmes
Frank and I had much in common and I like to think that our chats helped us both through difficult times, I will miss him John Kidd
So sorry you’ve left us Frank, will miss you a lot Del & Sue
Very sad news to pass on. Our dear friend Frank Hunt passed away yesterday afternoon. Reunited with Doris RIP Phil Armstrong
Very sad, Frank helped to make me very welcome when I Joined and I have enjoyed playing with him over the last 2 years. A real gentleman Brian Johnson
